NO MORE INSANE SHOPPING

I haven't post a thing for months and the truth is that I didn't know if i was going to write again. I didn't expect to become the "ultimate blogger" in my country when I started this, but honestly and (with little hope left) I really wanted to live on fashion.
I studied my career and after working for a few years I decided that I had to do something that I really loved....and I really loved fashion. Then, I decided to study again, I started the blog and also had some amazing experiences...and some others that were not amazing at all...

On one hand, I met some really nice a hard working photographers, stylists amd models, I've worked in fashion catwalks and one of my works was published this year in the US.

On the other hand, I've discovered that most of the people who work in the fashion industry are there because they are related to someone else in the business when they can't even name ten fashion designers... Lots of agencies do not offer you a contract and they don't even show up to say thanks and of course they don't pay you an euro.
But I am not trying to lecture you about anything, it is not a complaining post or a goodbye post....

I just needed some time to think and reorganize my career path. During this time I have read a lot about  big fashion companies and their doubtful attitudes towards workers and I have taken my decision.
I won't buy anything unless I really need it (or at least I will try) and then I will try to know the origin and production of the piece. I am considering seriously second hand as an option and also local designers who work hard to show their work at local stores, pop-ups and markets. I say goodbye to Inditext, Mango, Benetton, Primark and to all of the industries involved in the Bangladesh burning and which haven't paid the victims one year later. I am not trying to convince you, I repeat, to do the same as me. I still follow the blogs and the mags, I love trends as much as you do...this is just my personal choice.

Here you have some pics wearing my beautiful Hermès bag thanks to Vintage Me
