VANS and ZARA: Confessions of a shopaholic

Bueno, en realidad no creo que tenga una adicción a las compras...es que he hecho una limpieza de armario y estoy aprovechando las rebajas...¿cuela??? La camiseta brillante es de Zara, y me ha parecido adecuada para salir por la noche, aunque yo no sea muy de brillos...además sólo me ha costado 5'99 euros...o sea que tampoco está nada mal...las deportivas Vans son lo que me preocupan, porque me he comprado varios pares de zapatos este año (todos me molestan), y al final, mi empeño de ser una señorita y andar con tacones se esfuma por unas comodísimas bambas...// Ok, Ok, I don't really think I am a shopaholic, it's just that I cleaned up my wardrobe and I'm taking profit of the low prices on sales...does it sound convincing???? The bling bling thee is from Zara and it cost 5'99 euros, so I think it is a good investment to go out at night, eventhough I don't really like bling blings...what I am worried about is my pair of new Vans, 'cause I bought some shoes this year and I can't wear any (they are very uncomfortable). But my intention of becoming a lady and walk on high-heeled shoes just disappear with these wonderful and comfortable pair of trainers!!!

SITGES SHOPPING PRIDE

Este fin de semana he estado en Sitges, aprovechando que celebraban la semana del orgullo y he descubierto un montón de establecimientos nuevos para hacer shopping. Nada más entrar al casco antiguo, por la calle Espalter han abierto una tienda Yamamay ( las líneas de lencería y baño de Jennifer López), aunque una propuesta muy interesante es Antonio, una tienda con prendas y accesorios de Dsquared2, y otra de complementos y bisutería Elixir, especializada en bolsos de la marca griega Axel. Además, me he comprado las bailarinas de rayas en GMR de la marca Pieces (¡rebajadas a 9'99euros!!!!). En la tienda Melaza estaban estos dos modelos de cuñas de Rocket Dog en rosa y negro, preciosos, ¡no he sabido por cuál decidirme! // This weekend I've visited Sitges in the Gay Pride Week. I've just taken into account a lot of new stores that have recently opened its doors. Just in the old part of the village, in Espalter Street it's a new Yamamay (JLO lingerie and swimming collection). In that same street, there is a very interesting store named Antonio, which includes Dsquared2 items. Another one is Elixir, a boutique with Axel bags, the Greek brand of bags. Moreover, I have bought the wonderful striped ballerinas by Pieces in GMR store (just 9'99 euros). In Melaza, I found the pretty wedges in black and pink...I can't decide which ones I like most!!!

FIRST DAY OF SALES

HOY ES EL PRIMER DÍA DE REBAJAS Y PUEDO DECIR QUE A DIOS PONGO POR TESTIGO...NUNCA VOLVERÉ A IR DE COMPRAS ESE DÍA. LA VERDAD ES QUE LA MAQUINISTA YA ESTABA TAN LLENA DE GENTE COMO UN SÁBADO POR LA TARDE CUALQUIERA PERO SE PODÍA COMPRAR BASTANTE BIEN. ME HE COMPRADO UN VESTIDO EN PINKIE, UNAS CONVERSE EN QUEROL Y UNOS ZAPATOS DE TACÓN EN ULANKA...LO PEOR HA SIDO CUANDO DESPUÉS DE VISITAR MANGO, FOREVER21, ZARA, STRADIVARIUS, BOSSANOVA Y MISAKO, HE TENIDO LA TENTACIÓN DE ENTRAR EN BLANCO...Y HE ESTADO UNA HORA DE COLA PARA COMPRAR UN VESTIDO...ESO SÍ, ¡ME ENCANTA MI VESTIDO DE TOPOS!// TODAY IT'S THE FISRT DAY OF SALES HERE IN BARCELONA AND I DECIDED TO GO TO A DEPARTMENT STORE, LA MAQUINISTA. I SWEAR TO GOD I WOULD NEVER DO THAT AGAIN...AT THE OPENING HOURS IT WAS ALREADY FULL OF PEOPLE THOUGH I VISITED PINKIE, QUEROL, ULANKA, ZARA, FOREVER 21, STRADIVARIUS, MANGO...AND SO ON...THE WORST WAS ABOUT TO COME...I'VE SPENT ONE HOUR (ONE REAL HOUR) IN A QUEUE OF BLANCO STORE...JUST FOR A DRESS, BUT WHAT A DRESS. I LOVE IT!!!!

FOREVER 21 BARCELONA

Ésta es la nueva tienda FOREVER 21 que abrió el pasado sábado en el centro comercial La Maquinista. La cadena americana ha desembarcado en Barcelona, al igual que Primark anteriormente, con precios económicos (una media de 25 euros) y un local de dimensiones titánicas. En cuanto a la calidad o los productos, pues un poco más de lo mismo si sois seguidores de Top Shop o H&M. La tienda está dividida en varios ambientes, una colección de hombre, infantil, lencería, sección de bolsos y zapatos (taconazos, taconazos y más taconazos), bisutería en la parte central, tallas grandes y varias colecciones de mujer (desde básico a deportivo, lady, tendencia y étnico). Me ha sorprendido que los colores que predominan son los nude, de los blancos a los beige y los grises, cosa que no acompaña mucho a la temporada. Y el tallaje, ya que es un poco pequeño para mi. Muy british a pesar de ser americana. Sin más. Habrá que esperar a las rebajas...//

A new FOREVER 21 store has been open in Barcelona. The store is huge and has all the diffrent collections: children men, plus sizes, accessories, lingerie, shoes (high heels and more high heels) and bags and some collections for women (from lady to sportswear, tribal, basic and trends). I am suprised about the colour, basically it's nudes and greys and sizes are a little too small for me. Though the store brand is American, it looks British to me, just as Top Shop and H&M. I'll wait for sales...

EASTER SHOPPING

Éstas son las últimas compras que he hecho esta primavera. Los pantalones son de Primark, cuestan 15 euros y son de viscosa, muy cómodos. La diadema, también de Primark, cuesta dos euros. la camiseta es una básica de Shana, cuesta 3'99 y la cazadora es de piel, de Zara. me la regalaron hace unos ocho años. Como véis la inversión ha sido mínima, pero ¿qué opináis del resultado?// These are the last items that I bought for spring season. Trousers from Primark, they cost 15 euros. The hairband is also from Primark and it costs 2 euros. The T-shirt is from Shana, it costs 3'99 euros and finally the leather jacket is from Zara, they gave it to me like 8 years ago. As you can see, I've invested very little, but what do you think about the outfit?
